November 12, 2012 the holes were dug for the piers for the extension, August 27, 2013 our house is excitingly up to lock up stage. I am super excited to be able to walk into the extension and know that it is going to be part of our house soon enough, and we are going to have so much more space. The Merbau doors look awesome, Mark got such a bargain on all the windows and doors, its a shame that he couldn't use them down the coast, but an awesome bonus for us!Maddie and I made a start on priming the cladding in the area that the deck is going into as I want the bottom rows painted before we have the deck added. Maddie was pretty happy to get to paint the bearer with all her 'animals' but was less impressed when I told her that all of the yellow needed to be covered. I love her little pose in this picture, it is too cute!
